ScoutTV Presents: Andy Kennedy

In the midst of a week-long break between games, Ole Miss head coach Andy Kennedy stopped by Tad Smith Coliseum to speak with the media Tuesday. His team meets Vanderbilt Thursday at 6 p.m. View the video inside.

At 17-7 overall and 5-5 in SEC play, Ole Miss sits comfortably on the bubble of NCAA Tournament selection.

The Rebels have lost three of their last four games, with a crucial three-game homestand up next after a much-needed week off.

In short, the next six days could go a long way in building the team's postseason resume. Ole Miss claims an acceptable No. 49 RPI ranking, though a win over Kansas State (No. 7 RPI) is the best non-league victory by an SEC team away from its home court this season.

Suffice to say, a win over No. 17 Vanderbilt, ranked second in the SEC East, Thursday at 6 p.m. is important. The Commodores are 19-5 overall and 8-2 against league foes.

However, fourth-year head coach Andy Kennedy isn't focused on bracketology reports just yet. As he puts it, a possible postseason destination is "out of (the team's) control."
