Ole Miss entered spring practice with a two-way battle at quarterback.

But with only three practices plus the upcoming Grove Bowl remaining, sophomore Nathan Stanley appears to be establishing himself as the clear frontrunner when fall rolls around.

Similar to Saturday's scrimmage, Stanley again took the majority of first-team reps Monday. The Rebels worked in full pads under clear skies on the practice fields.

Head coach Houston Nutt spoke of Stanley's emergence shortly following the day's session, along with various other topics.

Senior defensive end Kentrell Lockett, never one to mince words, had equal praise for Stanley.
