how long it will take for hime to recover. Sounds like he may begin to toss a bit within the next month or so. I wouldn't rule him out completely for next year. I'm sure the coaches will be cautious given previous experience with Starr, etc.
Wasn't a complete tear and sounds like surgery wasn't as extensive as some (smaller scar, I hear).
I was really hoping for him to have a great season next year.
as far as TJs his case is pretty mild(I have had three) he could see time mid season. The big question is Boyd? does he move back into the rotation as a starter? He was just named Cape Cod pitcher/player of the week and has been filthy for Oreleans. I still like our pitchers with Shultz,Wetz,child and Starr or Duke as the mid week guys. I think you see Brocker and Tony B. as the closers and dont forget the kid out of Heilo he was drafted out of high school and chose to come to Corvallis.
