For those who think C.R. should be out, think about a few things first
1) Where was the program when he took over and where is it now?
2) Since those who think they have the knowledge of when to get rid of a coach, then surely you know who you'd go after to replace him?
3) C.R. has more wins in his first 4 seasons than Ralph Miller did in his first 4, heck more than Slats Gill for that matter.
I for one am on board with making the dance, but as long as I see continued improvement, I can sit tight and let it ride. I think the min. expectations for next year should be NIT. Personally, I think they should make the big tourney. If the min. is met, no need to talk about a new coach. The question really is, do you start shopping if there is a step back? I mean really, do you shop just because of 1 year? At least C.R. has made the program a more inviting place to coach than when he arrived. Even if JC goes NBA, I still think the min. should be NIT. You have to admit the talent level is far above than where it was when CR got here. You could make an argument that they have underachived this year. Last year was their small step back. Don't think I'm comparing CR to Ralph, I'm just trying to keep it in prespective.
