And then there were four

Los Angeles Harbor four-star defensive back Byron Moore has become a hot commodity on the recruiting trail, and he has accumulated an impressive scholarship list. Moore announced Tuesday he has now eliminated Ohio State from his list, following an official visit to Columbus two weeks ago. He trips to Oregon State, one of his remaining four, in just a few weeks.

Byron Moore is one of the top uncommitted defensive backs on the West Coast, and the nation's top-rated JUCO safety. He has put together quite a scholarship offer list, including Oregon State, Ohio State, UCLA, Miami, LSU and others. And a decision is getting closer.

Moore, 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, is ranked as a four-star prospect on Scout, and he announced Tuesday he has made a change to his favorite list.

"I have now eliminated Ohio State," Moore stated.

He had taken an official to visit to Ohio State two weeks ago.

"I will be making a few more cuts in the coming weeks, and I will let you know then.

"I'm basically down to Miami, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Oregon State, although there could be a few more," he stated. "My next two visits will be to Miami and Oregon State."
