Relaxed Practice Concludes Drills

Quarterbacks and tight ends tried to lob passes into a trash can and the defensive line played with a football launching device during the laid back two hour practice.

The big uglies picked up icy, 50 pound weights in their large hands and thrust them into bright blue cushions grasped by their teammates, creating an echo like someone was getting hit in the gut.

To the right of the o-line, the tight ends continued to work on their blocking as the nearby running backs dipped in and out of burnt orange pads lying on the synthetic surface.

Just a few yards away, the receivers exhaled air like it was poison as the quarterbacks scampered a few yards before releasing the pigskin.

On the opposite end of the field, the secondary's dizzying footwork amazed onlookers and tore up the bright green turf as they chased after loose balls with outstretched arms.

Nearby, the defensive line hit sky blue dumb bags with round lifeless arms as the linebackers pumped their extremities around a large figure eight.

OSU football concludes the spring practice session at 1:00 p.m. this Saturday.
