UPDATED: Head FB Trainer at OSU dismissed

A FASCINATING READ, but unfortunately not in a good way for Beav fans. An article in the Oregonian raises questions on if the injuries to three of the team's stars, WR James Rodgers, QB Ryan Katz and TE Joe Halahuni, were slow to be diagnosed and treated…and more.

The original story on Barney Graff's demotion in the newspaper has been updated -- Graff has been dismissed. And it hits like a hammer and doesn't let up.

"I have been told that none of this is related to Graff's drunk-driving arrest in February on Highway 99 in Linn County," writes the Oregonian's Paul Buker. "It has more to do with the growing questions and complaints about Graff and the sports medicine arm of Oregon State athletics."

And later, "No one is suggesting the head football trainer is responsible for what's happened at OSU, but there were problems so obvious on the training staff under Graff's watch that the athletes themselves were complaining."
