Sought Cali safety eyes Beavs

SETH JACOBS, a sought safety from Arroyo Grande, Calif., continues to rack up the offers. Which schools is he feeling the most, and is Oregon State one of them?

Seth Jacobs revealed which programs are currently starting to rise to the top of his list.

"In no particular order, right now I like Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, UCLA, Colorado, Arkansas and Northwestern," said Jacobs.

By the end of the summer Jacobs would like to select his top-five programs.

Seth Jacobs, the 6-2, 205-pound safety from Arroyo Grande (Calif.) now has 15 offers.

His most recent offer came in last week from Oregon, from Oregon's defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti.

"I feel good about this offer, and I am excited about it. Oregon is an up and coming program. They played for the national title. Coach Aliotti contacted me to extend the offer," said Jacobs.

Jacobs visited Oregon last fall.

"I visited last November for the Washington game. It was a nice place. The state itself is nice too. All the people there were very genuine and friendly. It is somewhere I could see myself living for the next couple years," said Jacobs.

The next step for Jacob is to take a closer look at his prospects and evaluate which school has everything he is looking for in a program.

"As I am seeing more schools in person, I would like to find out, how successful I could be at football there. Also how successful their team already is, and how strong the education is, but ultimately I want to pick a school that feels right and is the best fit for me," said Jacobs.

Jacobs also discussed a Big 12 program who he is still hoping to hear from, "I recently visited Oklahoma State, I really enjoyed my visit there, and I have family down there. I would be excited to receive an offer from them," said Jacobs.
