ANALYSIS: High praise for future Beav OL

ISAAC SEUMALO OVER the course of his collegiate career has a good chance to be one of the best offensive linemen ever to play at Oregon State. So says a Scout.com analyst who weighed in on the newest commit to Oregon State.

Isaac Seumalo looks to have a bright future ahead of him, says Scout.com Northwest Analyst Chris Fetters.

From a technical standpoint, he says, Seumalo is very advanced.

"I believe Seumalo is as gifted technically as any lineman I've seen in a while - definitely right up there with Josh Garnett," says Fetters. "Clearly a lot of that is because of his background with his father, but it's also because he was willing to learn and put in the time and effort necessary to get to that point."

Seumalo had some good tools and natural talent to work with too, says Fetters.

"He's been blessed with a natural lineman's frame and disposition, and as long as he continues to show a great work ethic and passion for being the best, there's no doubt in my mind he has a chance to be one of the best linemen to ever play at Oregon State," said Fetters.

Seumalo excelled at the NIKE camps in Stanford and Eugene this spring, earning offers from ASU, Boise State, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA and Washington.
