Center: Grant Johnson

MLB: Feti Unga
WLB: Michael Doctor
LCB: Jordan Poyer
S: Lance Mitchell
S: Anthony Watkins
RCB: Brandon Hardin

Defense Note: Cameron Collins saw his first action in full-team work tonight. It was just helmets and shoulder pads, but still a good sign of progress for the linebacker. Dominic Glover and Andrew Seumalo are both sharing time at DT with the 1s. Because of the nature of the defensive line with rotations, it's still hard to tell who has the upper hand. Although, these two may just be warming the seat for Castro Masaniai.

Quarterback Notebook:
Katz: On the first play of 11-on-11s, Katz threw a beautiful ball to Jordan Bishop, beating Lance Mitchell in man-to-man coverage for a big gain.

Wide Receiver Notebook:
There was an uncharacteristically high amount of dropped pass by the entire wide receiving corps at practice tonight. In a drill involving only QBs throwing to WRs, I counted 8 dropped balls in about three minutes. Markus Wheaton even dropped a couple passes, including a wide-open TD during skeleton.

Rodgers: Receiver and return man James Rodgers was without helmet and pads tonight, as expected. He participated in wide receiver drills and that was it. Rodgers was doing some individual work on the sideline about halfway through practice.

Catchings: Wide receiver Darrell Catchings proved he isn't just in the first-team until Rodgers comes back into the mix tonight. Catchings beat Brandon Hardin on a deep ball in 11-on-11s and made a catch over his right shoulder right on the sideline about 45 yards downfield.

Running Back Notebook:
Still the same story with the RBs: McCants, Ward and Stevenson all saw time with the first team.

Woods: In the last 11-on-11 session at the end of practice with only young players, Storm Woods was turning heads with his speed. The true freshman has a killer cutback ability, able to keep his speed in and out of cuts. Riley said this morning that him and fellow freshman Malcolm Agnew are making it hard to trim down this deep RB group.

Defensive Notebook:
Masaniai: In his third practice now, Castro Masaniai was running with the second-team in all drills. The team was not in full gear, so we'll see where he fits in on Monday when all the pads are on.

Reynolds: Sophomore CB Rashaad Reynolds looks like he could be the starting kick returner alongside Jordan Poyer . They were the two out there when the coaches called for 1s on the full-team kickoff work. He also made an interception in 11-on-11s, when QB Sean Mannion threw into double coverage.

Fifita: Defensive End Rudolf Fifita saw a little more action with the first team defensive line tonight than he has before. D-Line does shift around a lot, but it's still worth noting that it was more than usual.
