Marable fined, has license suspended 30 days

CORNERBACK MALCOLM MARABLE pleaded no contest to driving 104 miles-per-hour at 1:01 a.m. on Feb. 19 and was fined $1,150 and had his license was suspended for 30 days according to a report in the Oregonian.

Malcolm Marable has been on indefinite suspension from all team related activities by Mike Riley. The ruling would seem to clear the way for Marable's reinstatement to the team if previous transgressions clearing the courts system are any indication.

The speed limit on the stretch of interstate Marable was stopped on is 65 mph.

A sophomore-to-be, Marable played in 12 games last season as a true freshman. He registered 322 yards on 13 kickoff returns for a 24.8 average and tallied two tackles on special teams.

Marable competed earlier this year in the 2012 Husky Classic placing fourth in the third heat with a 7.21 time in the 60 meter dash.

The 5-foot-7, 164-pounder was moved from running back to cornerback before the start of the 2011 season.
