Max Rich landed his first offer Sunday night.
"It was kind of out of the blue," said Rich. "The offensive coordinator called and talked to me. Then the head coach talked to me he asked if I had any offers, I said no. Then he said, ‘you have one now.'"
In addition to North Dakota, Rich is hearing from a long list of interested programs.
"Mostly Pac-12 schools," said Rich. "Oregon and Oregon State are talking to me a ton. I am also hearing from the Ivy League schools. Those are the main schools right now."
The 6-7, 290 pound prospect talked about how close he thinks the in-state schools are to offering.
"They want to get me to come down for some spring practices," said Rich. "I can't right now because of my schedule, but they want me to come visit."
While Rich is still working on dates for visits to Oregon and Oregon State, he does have some camps marked on his schedule.
"I know for sure I am going to be at the NFTC in Eugene," said Rich. "I want to try and take visits. I want to let them see me and what I am like. I know I am going to the OSU camp for sure."
