Beavs head to Baton Rouge regional

IF OREGON STATE (38-18) wants to make it to Omaha, they'll likely have to knock off the seventh overall seed in the nation. But before even thinking about that, they'll have to beat Belmont (39-22), the Atlantic Sun champions, in the opening tilt of the Baton Rouge regional on Friday at 12 p.m. PT.

The Beavers are in the field of 64 for the seventh time in the last eight years.

The Beavers, the No. 2 seed, will face Belmont on Friday at 12 p.m. PT (2 p.m. CT). The host Tigers open against No. 4 Louisiana-Monroe.
