Have Beavs found their QB?

OREGON STATE MAY have found their Class of 2013 quarterback. Greg Biggins of Scout.com has a report on one of the few known QB prospects with an Oregon State offer and it looks to be good news for OSU fans. Plus, the Top 50 quarterback will also be in Corvallis today.

Biggins let BF.C subscribers know early Tuesday morning that things have changed in a big way for Colorado's Luke Del Rio.

"Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Valor Christian QB Luke Del Rio has de-committed from Oklahoma State and will visit Oregon State later today. It will be his second visit and I think the Beavs look very good right now," Biggins wrote.

Del Rio verballed to Okie State back in May.

Biggins also noted on his twitter page that Del Rio will be at Alabama on Wednesday.

However, Scout.com lists Alabama with two known QB commits in their 2013 class already, 5-star Cooper Bateman and 3-star Parker McLeod.

Del Rio is ranked three stars by Scout.com and the No. 45 prep QB prospect in the nation. Del Rio led Valor Christian to a 9-0 win over Cherokee Trail in the state title game. Headed into the state championship game, Del Rio had a 69.3 completion percentage with 24 touchdown passes and just three interceptions.
