Kyle Peko (6-2, 295) out of Cerritos College in Norwalk, Calif. will have three to play two at Oregon State.
He's a key addition to the class who will be expected to play immediately with OSU losing both starting DTs this year, Castro Masaniai and Andrew Seumalo, to graduation.
As the most highly-recruited player on the Falcons' roster, Peko has 18 offers, but had narrowed things down to a top five of OSU, WSU, Utah, Nebraska and Michigan State. He recently took his fifth and final official visit to Corvalis last weekend.
Many thought he was leaning towards Michigan State or possibly Nebraska -- but the trip to Corvallis was a deal changer. He posted 46 tackles, 3 sacks and 11 tackles-for-loss this past season.
But Peko had some big numbers on the interior these past two seasons, with 85 tackles over his junior college career.
Peko is not a midyear junior college transfer and will therefore sign in February along with the majority of prospects.
