OSU opened with a 14-9 start but a 12-0 run had Beaver fans thinking, 'Here we go again.' But the Beavs clawed back and although Roberto Nelson wasn't filling up the basket in the first 20 minutes, Joe Burton and his variety of hook shots were a good substitute.

Burton scored 10 points and pulled down 10 boards in the win.

Eric Moreland drilled a trey towards the end of the first half and only heated up from then on. Moreland also recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
