Sean Mannion was 31-for-43 for 372 yards and four touchdowns as Oregon State scored the final 19 points of the game.
Brandin Cooks had seven catches for 92 yards and two scores for the Beavers (1-1) and Oregon State tallied 508 yards of total offense -- while Hawaii (0-2) had just 239 hashes.
But it felt dicey for a while there.
Hawaii had evened it at 14-14 at halftime as Mannion threw a pick-six and Hawaii put together an 80-yard drive.
But Cooks had a pair of 8-yard TD receptions in the third quarter and the Beavs added a Trevor Romaine field goal and a safety in the final frame.
