VERBAL: Cali ATH flips to Oregon State

ATHLETE XAVIER CRAWFORD out of Concord, Calif. has flipped his commitment to Oregon State from San Diego State. But will he delay enrollment and join the Beavs next January, or will he come on board now and ink his LOI on Signing Day?

Scout.com's Brandon Huffman first reported the news that Xavier Crawford was Oregon State-bound.

The Clayton Valley High product is rated the No. 96 corner and three stars by scout.com.

Crawford (5-11, 170) chose the Beavs over offers from SDSU, SJSU, UTEP, Wyoming and others.

Crawford did not immediately return phone calls but it may be that he'll delay enrollment. If so, he probably wouldn't sign a Letter of Intent on Wednesday as schools are no longer allowed to oversign beyond 25.
