Beav o-line still banged up after bye

IF OREGON STATE center Isaac Seumalo is going to make his season debut this Saturday against SDSU (7:30 p. m., Fox Sports 1), he’s going to have to be full-go in practice pretty soon. He did not practice on Monday, according to a report in the Oregonian.

Isaac Seumalo continued to work on the side with trainers. He’ll need to at least get some work with the 1’s before being ready to play and even then, his conditioning will take a while to come around.

Seumalo isn’t the only question mark on the offensive line.

Two other starters – left guard Garrett Weinreich (knee) and right tackle Sean Harlow (back) -- did not practice Monday either according to the report.

Roman Sapolu, who started in place of Weinreich at Hawaii, continues to run with the 1’s in his place.

Dustin Stanton was with the first team in place of Harlow.

Defensive end Dylan Wynn returned to practice after letting his injured toe get some off-time during the bye week.

Next Saturday's tilt at USC will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on ABC. It will be the third game in a row the Beavers will kick off at 7:30 PT (kickoff at Hawaii was at 4:30 p.m. local time) and the third of four games to kick off at night. OSU opened the season with a 1 pm tilt against Portland State.

Game 6 will also be a night game, when the Beavs host Utah at 7 pm on Oct. 16. The start time for the Beavs’ fifth opponent, Colorado at Boulder, has not yet been determined.
