Tuiaki (pronounced ee-lye-sa too-ee-ah-kee) will be reprising the special teams role he held at Utah State under Gary Andersen for the 2009-10 seasons.
Tuiaki is in his first season at Oregon State after spending the last three years at Utah. While with the Utes he spent two years coaching the defensive line, and one year mentoring the fullbacks and tight ends.
“Coach Tuiaki is well prepared for his expanded role and excited about the responsibility,” Coach Andersen said in a statement released by Oregon State.
Spring football practice begins Tuesday, March 3 with the 15-day practice session culminating with the annual Spring Game at Reser Stadium Saturday, April 21.
