OREGON STATE OFFERS are ramping up with the May Evaluation period in full swing. The top three positions when it comes to known offers – they’re all on defense.

Oregon State has extended 15 known offers to uncommitted defensive end prospects, 11 to safeties and 10 to outside linebackers, according to the Scout.com database.

The next three spots are all on offense – nine to running backs, six to offensive tackles and six to wide receivers.

OSU has known offers out to five uncommitted ATH, five corners, three offensive guards, two defensive tackles, two tight ends and one quarterback.

The top three states when it comes to producing college talent have long been California, Florida and Texas. For the first time, and because of the staff’s new connections to Florida, OSU offers mirror that.

California holds the most Oregon State offers, with 25. Florida is next, boasting 18 OSU offers. Texas rounds out the list with eight.

Utah, it should be noted and not surprisingly given the Utah connection of several OSU staff members, is next with seven known offers extended by OSU.

Oregon State has four known commitments in its 2016 class, with three of them from Florida.

WR Javonte Ferguson and CB Jadarius Byrd are out of Jacksonville and safety Devon Clarke hails from Kissimmee.

Wideout Trevon Bradford, from nearby Oregon City, is the newest Beaver pledge, coming on board this week.
