OREGON STATE WILL travel to Dallas and open regional play in the baseball postseason on Friday.

The Beavers are the No. 2 seed in the four-team regional and will meet Texas (30-25) on Friday at 11:30 a.m. Pacific.

Texas doesn't have to travel far. They got into the postseason by winning the Big 12 tournament.

The game will streamed live online at

For those who plan on attending, all-tournament passes go on sale Tuesday morning for $60. Single-game tickets ranging from $10 to $20 go on sale Thursday. For more information, log on to or call 512-471-3333.

The four-team regionals are a double elimination format. In the other half of the Dallas regional bracket, No. 1 seed Dallas Baptist (43-13) meets No. 4 VCU (37-22).

If Oregon State were to win the regional and advance, they would play the winner of the Coral Gable regional in the super regionals. There, Miami (44-14) is the No. 1 seed (and No. 5 national seed) and plays FIU (29-29) in the opening regional round. In the bottom half of the Miami regional, Columbia (31-15) and East Carolina (40-20) square off.
