OSU makes it official, adds two to football

OREGON STATE made it official on Wednesday, announcing in a release Ryan Navarro and Sosaia Tauaho have signed a financial aid agreements to attend and play football at OSU.

Navarro, a 6-2, 225-pound long snapper, and Tauaho, a 6-4, 330-pound offensive lineman are scheduled to arrive in Corvallis this summer in advance of fall camp.

Navarro, a native of Murrieta, Calif., played high school football at Vista Murrieta High. He spent the last two seasons at Riverside City College where he played an integral role on the Tigers’ special teams units. As the long snapper, Navarro recorded four tackles in 2014 and two others in 2013 when he also forced a fumble. Navarro has three years to play two seasons.

Tauaho, from Oakland, Calif., transfers to Oregon State with two years to play two. The Freemont High graduate spent the last three seasons at Laney College where he earned all-conference honors in 2014.
