Oregon State offers 2018 Florida DB

Oregon State is wasting no time on the recruiting trail after their first game of the season on Thursday night. Coaches hit the road across the country to continue to add pieces to 2017 and beyond.

The Beavers have been actively recruiting Florida under second year head coach Gary Andersen, and that trend continued on Friday afternoon with an offer being extended to 2018 cornerback Ken Montgomery from Tampa (Florida) Hillsborough.

Derrick Odum is leading the recruitment of the 6-foot-2, 165 pound junior playmaker.  The 3-star prospect already holds double-digit offers from across the country including Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisville, Missouri among others, but the Beaver offer is somewhat intriguing, even if it is early in the process.

"I think they have a really good program and I can see myself being a Beaver," Montgomery told BeaverBlitz.

Being a junior, Montgomery has not set up any official visits just yet, but is taking the process in stride. He promised to keep BeaverBlitz updated on any new offers or contact with Oregon State as he continues through his junior year.
