Carter Booth, a 2018 outfielder from Snohomish (Washington) Henry Jackson High announced his college commitment via Twitter yesterday.
With offers from Washington, Washington State and Oregon, what was it about Oregon State that made him want to commit so early?
"Well I had a visit at OSU back in August and right when I stepped on the campus I felt at home," Booth said. "I really enjoyed the college town feel in Corvallis. When I toured the baseball field and facilities I fell in love with it."
"To add on to that, their coaching staff is very friendly and they treat their baseball team like family. I also knew some other commits at OSU so it helps to know other people that are going there with me."
The highly sought after fielder plays on the Northwest Bandits 18-U Showcase team, a team with a rich history of placing great players at OSU including alums Dylan Davis and Michael Conforto.
