Oregon State University has confirmed that sophomore wide receiver Seth Collins has been hospitalized with an undisclosed illness.
Sources have confirmed that Collins is being treated in Corvallis at Good Samaritan Hospital after becoming ill after the Beavers lost to UCLA on Saturday night. Rumors on social media have swirled, but no confirmation of his illness or condition have been made by the University or hospital at this time.
Collins has played in all ten of the Beavers games this season as a wide receiver, after playing quarterback last year as a true freshman. This year he has 36 receptions for 418 yards and one touchdown.
Head Coach Gary Andersen is expected to meet with the media today at 12:30 pm for his weekly press conference. BeaverBlitz will update this story as news becomes available.null
