SAN FRANCISCO – Oregon State running back Ryan Nall was named as the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference Monday morning.
Nall, who carried the ball a career-high 31 times, ran for 155 yards and a career-best four touchdowns in the Beavers’ 34-24 victory over Oregon Saturday afternoon. He added a team-leading 34 receiving yards contributing to a total 189 all-purpose yards.
The sophomore from Sandy, Ore., ran the ball 16 times on the Beavers’ final three drives as OSU finished the game with 20 straight rushes. The Beavers put 21 unanswered points on the board to take the lead and salt away the win in the final 20 minutes of the game.
Nall’s four touchdown effort marked the first time an OSU player has rushed for as many TDs since Steven Jackson in 2003.
