CONFIRMED TO BE SIGNING
THE SCOOP: 4-star Hodgins is the 'real deal'. Not only will he benefit by being on campus early for spring football, he will be able to work on chemistry with the quarterbacks for six months before the other receiver signees get to Corvallis. He is also helping to recruit other top recruits to Oregon State.
THE SCOOP: Taylor is somewhat of a hidden gem. A broken leg kept him off the field all season, but he is still the #1 ranked receiver in Arizona. Mature beyond his years, he is a focused route runner and will come in ready to compete from day one.
THE SCOOP: Luton put up big numbers at Ventura Community College and the big-armed gun slinger is 100% ready to sign with the Beavers and come into Corvallis in January ready to go.
THE SCOOP: Junior college offensive linemen are a huge position of need for the Beavers this year. Replacing three starters is never easy, but juco's are more ready to see action, especially when they are 6-foot-7, 306 pounds. Yes, Sattelmaier has been working out and confirmed on social media that he is over the 300 pound mark. Sattelmaier is expected on campus for spring term, April 3.
POSSIBILITY OF SIGNING
THE SCOOP: Evans has told BeaverBlitz that the Beavers have been his leader for quite some time. His relationship with Coach Andersen will be hard to beat. BeaverBlitz expects Evans to sign with Oregon State, over Kentucky and Ole Miss on Wednesday.
THE SCOOP: Like Evans, Cole has a long standing relationship with Coach Andersen. Will that alone be enough to pull him away from the SEC? The Beavers hope so, as Cole is the type of player who could come in and make an immediate impact for Coach Odum at safety. Many believe Kentucky holds the lead, but Cole has remained pretty quiet.
THE SCOOP: As mentioned above, junior college offensive linemen are at the top of Oregon State's 'wish list' heading into Wednesday. George Moore is currently committed to Washington State. Could the Beavers flip him on Wednesday?
THE SCOOP: Like Moore and Sattelmaier, Agasiva is another one of the Beavers top targets. He has been on the coaches radar since last season. Does he follow Pima teammates at either TCU or Oregon State or does he blaze a trail at Utah?
THE SCOOP: Lane committed to the Beavers before the Civil War game while on his visit. Everything seemed solid until Texas Tech jumped in the mix last week. Lane took a visit to Lubbock this past weekend and will announce his college choice Wednesday. The Beavers need a junior college cornerback to come in and play immediately for the recently graduated Treston Decoud.
THE SCOOP: Davis was the first commit of the 2017 class, but his interest has fallen off substantially since his official visit.
NOT SIGNING WITH OREGON STATE
THE SCOOP: Nixon visited Oregon State for the Civil War, but just cut his list to South Carolina and Tennessee.
THE SCOOP: Miller was a long time commit to Oregon State and is an early enrollee. A trip to Missouri was enough to change his mind however, and he will be signing with Mizzou on Wednesday.
