"It's official like a referees whistle!"
Those were the words Craig Evans used to describe his commitment to Oregon State on Wednesday morning. The defensive tackle, who signed with Michigan State as a prep, committed and signed with Oregon State after spending this past season at Arizona Western Junior College in Yuma, Arizona.
It is a huge pick-up for Coach Andersen and his staff as the 6-foot-4, 310 pound tackle looks to come in and compete immediately for the Beavers.
Evans says it is his relationship with Andersen that made all the difference.
"Coach A knows very well what he is doing and he has been my guy for about five years now," Evans told BeaverBlitz. "He's a 100% type guy, very upstanding and well spoken."
Evans chose Oregon State over Mississippi, Arkansas, and Kentucky.
