Wahiawa (Hawaii) Leilehua safety Charles Watson used the inaugural Polynesian Bowl in Honolulu as his stage to announce his commitment on Saturday night. Watson, a one time commit to Washington State, decommitted from the Cougars shortly after visiting Corvallis in September.
Watson had offers from across the country, including the PAC 12 and SEC (Vanderbilt). The three-star athlete is rated as the #13 safety in the west and #73 in the nation.
The 6-foot-2, 178 pound athlete announced earlier this month that he would be deciding between BYU and Oregon State. Oregon State coaches are expected to be in home with Watson on Sunday.
