The Beavers have been extending offers to athletes in the 2018 class, but they are also busy identifying and offering their top prospects in the 2019 class as well. One new offer that went out is to Sanger, California athlete Jalen Cropper.
This was Cropper's first offer, and one that the 6-foot, 154 pound sophomore is excited about. He also confirmed that the Beavers are recruiting him as a receiver.
"I feel beyond blessed to receive an offer from a PAC 12 contender," Cropper said. "They are a great college and I'd like to play for them in the future."
Cropper had a standout year playing varsity football this past season. He rushed for 739 yards on 44 carries and also hauled in 11 passes for 237 yards, while scoring 19 touchdowns.
Who else could be close to offering?
"Probably Fresno State and Nevada," he said.
USC is a school he'd love to hear from down the road, but right now he is open to everyone and excited to have his first offer in the books.
BeaverBlitz will continue to follow Cropper's recruitment.
