Wallace Talks Latest Offer

Oregon State continues to extend offers to the 2018 class, including safety L.J. Wallace of Atwater, California.

L.J. Wallace, a 6-foot-3, 185 pound safety from Atwater (Calif.) Buhach Colony has a handful of offers including Colorado, Fresno St., Nevada and others.  He also just added an offer from Oregon State after participating at the Sacramento State camp on Sunday.

Safety coach John Rushing was on hand and was the Oregon State coach who offered Wallace.

"I feel good about the offer," he told BeaverBlitz. "I still have a lot of time to really figure out where I want to go."

Wallace feels that Cal and Washington could also be close to pulling the trigger and offering him.

He currently plays for TMP Elite (7-on-7 team), a program that has established quite a pipeline with the Beavers over the past year.  Aidan Willard, Trajon Cotton, Isaiah Dunn and Isaiah Hodgins are all TMP Elite alumni, and they aren't done.  According to Wallace his former teammates are already selling him on Oregon State.

Wallace plans to take his visits before making a decision and said the PAC 12 programs that have offered will definitely be getting a visit.  What will he be looking for?

"Being comfortable and having a bond with the coaches and team," he said. "I also want to make sure it's the right lifestyle and place where I would want to live and play ball for two or more years."

Wallace vowed to keep BeaverBlitz updated on new offers and his visit plans as they begin to take shape.
