Talented Lineman Verbals

Oregon State picked up their seventh verbal and first lineman prospect Monday from San Lorenzo Valley High School's Andy Levitre.

The talented offensive lineman tore up the summer camps this year opening the eyes of college coaches across the nation. He lost forty pounds during the summer dropping from 340 pounds to 310 pounds, which improved his quickness, resulting in better footwork and technique.

Mike Eubanks of TheBootleg.com reviewed Levitre while he was at Stanford's summer camp. "He's lost a lot of weight, but still is an incredible force at 310 pounds," said Eubanks. "Levitre is truly a two-way prospect. He's quick and explosive for his size, but has great leverage and technique."

Levitre's Cougars are struggling this year as they are winless (0-5). Last year the Cougars went 13-0 and won the Central Coast Section Division IV title for the third time in four years.

The California native has also been nominated for the US Army All-American bowl along with 400 other prep football players across America
