Throughout the day quarterback Adam Rothenfluh looked good, connecting on six-of-nine passes against all or part of the defense. Of the three incomplete passes one was a well thrown ball to wide receiver Josh Hawkins that was almost caught, another was batted at the line by defensive end Brandon Scales, and the third was thrown a little high for wideout Mike Hass.
Also noticeable today was the enthusiasm of linebacker’s coach Charlie Camp. At one point when linebacker Chaz Scott made a nice play in the backfield on a running play, Camp ran up to him and almost knocked him down.
The trio was able to either make the first man miss or break tackles depending on the play. On one play in particular, Wright put a nice stiff arm on safety strong safety Sabby Piscitelli and out ran him to the end zone.
