Remember '96...Buster Elahee and Grant Forman

Reacquaint yourself with Beaver football players of the past as we take a look at some of the players from the 1996 squad. <br><br> CB Buster Elahee was looking to have a breakout year after redshirting in between his sophomore and junior years. OT Grant Forman proved that hard work pays off and earned a scholarship after walking on.

Buster redshirted during the 1995 season after starting as a freshman and sophomore. Buster started nine games a sophomore, participating in 675 plays and scoring 168 defensive points.

As a true freshman in 1993, Buster played in all 11 games and started six while participating in 532 plays. Buster will enter his junior season as the Beavers' starting cornerback in 1996.



OT Grant Forman

Grant has been a self-made man at Oregon State. He was a walk-on when he came to OSU and through determination and hard work he earned a scholarship prior to his junior year.

He has participated in only 15 plays for the Beavers prior to 1996, Grant was easily the most improved player on the OSU roster during spring drills and earned the No. 1 spot at left tackle going into the 1996 season.
