Go hard or go home

Highly touted receiver Ruben Jackson recently talked with BeaverFootball.com's youngest reporter. What did Jackson say when he was asked what OSU can improve on? You'll have to click to find out.

BF.com:  With all the schools wanting you to visit, what criteria did you use to pick which schools you would visit?
Jackson:  "The coaches."

BF.com:  What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Jackson: "Spend time family."

BF.com:  Who is your favorite player of all-time?
Jackson:  "Jerry Rice"

BF.com:  How many hours do your workout in the off-season?
Jackson:  "Five days a week for two hours a day"

BF.com:  Have you always been a WR, or did you like other positions?
Jackson:  "I played defensive tackle in the seventh grade."

BF.com:What would you like your fans to know about you?
Jackson:  "I am humble."

BF.com:  How important is academics to you?
Jackson: "A lot."

BF.com:  Do you know what you want to study?
Jackson:  "I want to study criminal justice."

BF.com:  What age did you start playing tackle football in a league?
Jackson: "Sixth"

BF.com:What advice do you have for younger players?
Jackson:  "Have the quickest feet. Have the biggest heart. Dominate the football, and catch
everything you touch."

BF.com:  What advice do you have on life?
Jackson:  "Go hard or go home."

BF.com:  Top three schools?
Jackson: "OSU, UA, and Cal."

BF.com:  What can OSU improve on?
Jackson:  "Nothing!"

** Ruben added that he already has two friends at OSU playing wide receivers Marcel Love and Kevin Swanigan.

Dad's comments:
Ruben sounds like a gentleman that has his priorities in order. He was extremely nice to my son and represented himself like a professional. No arrogance at all. This is what us dads appreciate!  It sounds like he has some friends at OSU already with Love.
