40 time: 5.7
From: Los Angeles, California
High School: Loyola
Loyola does not keep stats for O-lineman, but Jonathan Summers felt he had a good junior season and he even scored a touchdown. "Our quarterback fumbled the ball so I picked it up and ran it in," said Summers.
He took many visits over spring break with his father. "We went to Washington, Colorado, Colorado State, Oregon, and Oregon State. I like all of those schools, plus you can add Boston College and Indiana. It is still early, so I am open to all of them and don't have any leaders."
His father is fond of Washington as he attended school there.
Summers has no offers to date.
He claims to be getting the most interest from Indiana, Boston College, CU, and Stanford.
Summers speaks of the kind of player he is. "I am always watching film. I always scout the other teams to see what they like to do before we play. I always do my best and I work hard."
He carries a 3.3 core GPA and scored an 1830 on the SAT (out of the new 2400 score). He would like to major in Business and Engineering.
