Junior To Watch: Washington QB Brian Foreman

Although it's still very early in the recruiting process, the Northwest is shaping up to be strong at the quarterback position next year. Another name to watch will be Brian Foreman, 6-3, 205 pounds from Issaquah (Wash.) Skyline.

Foreman is a big, strong kid with very good arm strength. He had a very nice junior season throwing for 2,700 yards and 10 touchdowns and ran for an additional four more scores. In addition to football, Foreman is a talented pitcher in baseball who went 10-1 last year and is being recruited for both sports.

So far Foreman is hearing from USC, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Stanford, Washington, Arizona State and the Ivy League. "I don't have a favorite right now, I'm pretty open," Foreman said. "I liked Washington growing up but I couldn't even tell you who my top five are. I'm just looking for a school with a good location, a strong coaching staff and if I could play baseball as well as football, that would be great."

Academically, Foreman is carrying a 2.8 GPA and will take the SAT later in the year. He'll attend the Washington State team camp as well as the Nike Camp in Palo Alto.
