Joe See Will Transfer

It has been reported that point guard Joe See will transfer from Oregon State to a school closer to home.

Tracy Pierson and Greg Hicks of PrepWestHoops.com, a partner of beaverfootball.com, reported that Joe See will transfer. Santa Clara or the University of the Pacific are the most probable destinations. It is not known whether Ritchie McKay's departure was partially responsible for See's decision.

See averaged 23.1 minutes per game in his first season at Oregon State, which led all Beaver freshman. See averaged 6.1 points per game and 1.8 assists per game, while shooting 35.3% from the field and 34.7% on three point attempts. He led the team in three point field goals and three point field goals attempted.

See came to Corvallis from De La Salle High School in Northern California, where he led the Spartans to three straight appearances in the NorCal championship game and the title in his Junior season. He was considered one of the best shooters in the state coming out of high school.
