Late Tuesday night, Jeff Welsch of the Gazette Times, reported that Joe See will not be transferring from Oregon State. David See, Joe's father, said the rumors were false and have no merit.
The Gazette Times article also reported that no OSU players are planning on transferring just because Ritchie McKay leaft. In fact, many are excited about the new opportunity with a new coach.
Mitch Barnhart is hoping to find Oregon State's 7th basketball coach by this week or early next week.
OSU's See not transferring
Note from the editor:
On March 31 we attained some information from a reliable source that said Joe See was transfering.
We are sorry if the information caused any inconvenience, or troubles. It was not our intention to blow this out of proportion. Next time we publish any unconfirmed information we will put a note in the article saying it is so.
Until the Oregon State athletic department comes out with an official statement, Joe See is still with the OSU basketball team.
See will not transfer
