The Wiseguy Weekly

BeavaBleeda continued his losing streak last week and dropped to 8-7 ATS on the year. That's the way it goes in this game. One day you are a genius and the wisest guy on the planet, the next day you are worrying about your bankroll and just trying to keep your head above water. This wiseguy is ready to start a new winning streak and after extensive research has found some sure games on the board.

Michigan at Iowa -2.5.
A great game to start your Saturday of college football viewing at 9 a.m. Pacific time. Bleeda loves the Hawkeyes in this game to take care of business. Michigan has been inconsistent this year and after last weeks emotional win against Penn State it would make sense for them to have a letdown this week.

But the main reason to go with Iowa is that they are riding a 22 game home winning streak. They are also 9-2 ATS at home coming off a double digit win and they won by 17 last week. Michigan is 2-8-1 ATS away versus an opponent coming off double digit win. Iowa 27 Michigan 24.

Oregon State +9 at #8 UCLA.
Another national televised game for the Beavers and another top 25 opponent awaits. The talk amongst the wiseguys lately is whether or not UCLA is overrated. The consensus appears to be yes. The Bruins can definitely score at will, but Oregon State can throw points up on the board too.

This looks to be another typical Pac-10 shootout where the team that scores last wins. Oregon State has some serious momentum going after the victory over California last week. The defense is showing improvement and they understand that they will be the difference in games against high-powered offenses.

The Beavers have played great on special teams and that will be critical again as they must make it a point to avoid Maurice Drew on punts. UCLA is due for it's end of the season meltdown. Be biased - take the Beavers and the points.

That's all I got this week. Good luck on your picks! Baaaaaaaaaaleeeeeeeeed it!
