Quintin Daniels is an elusive player from LA. He is a playmaking wide receiver from Loyola High School. Last season as a junior, he caught 32 passes for 563 yards and 7 TDs.

California is loaded with wide receivers and one of the best is Quintin Daniels from Los Angeles (Cal.) Loyola High School. Daniels is a terrific athlete that runs a 10.7 100 meters and has a 21-4 long jump. Last season as a junior, Daniels caught 32 passes for 563 yards and 7 touchdowns.

"I have excellent hands and breakaway speed," said Daniels. "I am an elusive, big play guy." Daniels grew up in LA and his favorite receiver is former Trojan and current Tampa Bay Buccaneer Keyshawn Johnson. "That is my guy. I love his attitude. I met him a few times and he has given me a couple tips on playing receiver."

Despite being a being fan of Johnson, Daniels currently favors UCLA and Stanford, although USC is high on his list as well.

"UCLA has offered me a scholarship, they are close to home, the weather is great and I feel I can play early there. Stanford is going to change their system with the new staff and they are really going to throw the football. Plus, the academics are incredibly.

"I would say Notre Dame is a close number three. I also like Southern Cal, Oregon and Arizona State. All the PAC 10 teams are recruiting me very hard. I really want to play my freshman year.

"I will be looking at depth charts and watching who everyone recruits. I also want to play in warm weather."

Daniels did not attend the LA Nike Camp because of a pulled hamstring. He hopes to attend the Nike Camp at Stanford. This summer, Daniels plans on camping at UCLA.
