Stanford game to be televised

Oregon State University Athletics is pleased to announce the Nov. 12 football game vs. Stanford at Reser Stadium will be televised live by the Beaver Sports Television Network. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. PDT.

The partnership between OSU Athletics, through Beaver Sports Properties, and KVAL of Eugene consists of KVAL and their network of stations: KCBY (CBS) in Coos Bay and KPIC (CBS) in Roseburg. In Portland the game will air on KPDX (UPN).

Beaver Sports Properties has also reached an agreement with Charter Cable to broadcast the game in Southern Oregon. The game will be seen on Charter Cable on the following systems: Channel 20 in Medford/Ashland and surrounding communities, Channel 3 in Grants Pass and Channel 78 in Klamath Falls area.

Fans can also watch the game live online at by subscribing to the Beaver Nation Online video service.

KEX sports director Scott Lynn, former Beaver quarterback Steve Preece, KVAL sports director Tom Ward and Cathy Marshall (sideline) will call the action. Marshall will also have special halftime feature interviews with first-year OSU women's basketball coach LaVonda Wagner and with members from the 1980-81 men's basketball team.

The game will also air live in Northern California on FSN Bay Area.
