The Wiseguy Weekly

BeavaBleeda ran the table last week and went 3-0 on his picks. He now stands at 13-10 ATS for the year. It's been a season of ups and downs and right now this roller coaster is heading up on a hot streak.

Bleeda has hit five out his last six games and looks to finish the season over the magic percentage of fifty-three. College football used to be just a Saturday thing, but now there are games on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  My feature game of the week is actually on a Thursday, so let's get started.

Boise State +9 at #20 Fresno State.
It's the WAC showdown and it will be televised tonight on ESPN. Both teams are sitting at 5-0 in the conference and this game will decide who is king of the Weak A$#% Conference, I mean Western Athletic Conference.

This game will be a hot contested battle and could come down to who has the ball last. The Broncos of Boise won't be playing on blue turf, but they have won the last two times they've visited Fresno in addition to the last four meetings between the teams.

The Bulldogs have a tough defense and they will need it to stop the red hot boys from Boise State. The Broncs have been improving on offense and their point totals have climbed each of the past five weeks. They have scored 21, 38, 45, 49, and 56, respectively. I like the value in the nine points because this is basically a rivalry game. This looks to be a great game with the conference title at stake. I don't foresee a blowout, so the dog with points is a great value. Fresno State is the better team, but nine is too much. Take the Broncos.

ASU at #14 UCLA -3.5.
The Bruins of L.A. will bounce back this week and take care of the Sun Devils.  UCLA is back in the comforts of their home turf which is sure to help and they have been resilient within games this year, coming back from four fourth quarter deficits of at least 10 points.  The Arizona State rush defense is 95th in the nation and that means running back Maurice Drew is going to have a field day.

UCLA has a weak rush defense also, but the Sun Devils do not have much of a running game. A field goal and a hook won't be a problem to cover, I'm not even worrying about buying a point for insurance. Bruins by at least a touchdown.

Our OSU Beavers opened as a four point favorites this week and are now up to five and a half points. Looks like Vegas loves the Beavers this week. Six wins may just result in a trip to see the wiseguys in Vegas come bowl season. That's all I got for now.

Good luck on your picks, make some money, and bleed in the Beavers. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it!
