John and his players say.
John on the game - “Well that second half was a lot of fun. Make no mistake about that. There wasn’t a whole lot of magic at half time, but I did tell the kids that I didn’t particularly care at this point in time whether we won or we loss. I told them that we’re early in the season, we’re in our fourth game, we don’t, as of yet, have an identity as to what we’re going to stand for, what we’re not going to tolerate."

John on if he thought the team could come back at halftime - “I had no idea. In the past years, we’ve stepped on ourselves in the first half and been down by points, and we’ve come back. But most of the time we’ve come back when we haven’t finished all the way in coming back. But I didn’t know. It was a different team. We were fortunate that they came out flat in the second half.”

Jason Fontenet on the emotional win and a hard week of practice paying off - "It was really emotional towards the end. I saw Coach Mouton crying. It was gut and heart towards the end. We’ve worked really hard in practice, and it really did pay off.”
