John and his players say.
John on the game - Well that second half was a lot of fun. Make no mistake about that. There wasnt a whole lot of magic at half time, but I did tell the kids that I didnt particularly care at this point in time whether we won or we loss. I told them that were early in the season, were in our fourth game, we dont, as of yet, have an identity as to what were going to stand for, what were not going to tolerate."
John on if he thought the team could come back at halftime - I had no idea. In the past years, weve stepped on ourselves in the first half and been down by points, and weve come back. But most of the time weve come back when we havent finished all the way in coming back. But I didnt know. It was a different team. We were fortunate that they came out flat in the second half.
Jason Fontenet on the emotional win and a hard week of practice paying off - "It was really emotional towards the end. I saw Coach Mouton crying. It was gut and heart towards the end. Weve worked really hard in practice, and it really did pay off.
