VERBAL: Hawaii LB makes it 'good' for Beavers was able to get confirmation that Michael Sipili, a 6-foot-1, 235-pound linebacker from Damien High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, has verbally committed to Oregon State over offers from New Mexico State and San Diego State.

Sipili gave his commitment to OSU on an official visit this past weekend.

He is currently visiting San Diego State, but we confirmed that his visit to the Aztecs and their uncertain future only solidified his thoughts about the Beavers.

"I'm good," he said. "I'm going to Oregon State."

WITH SIPILI, Oregon State now has 18 known verbal commitments. The Beavers also have two soft verbals.

A media report Friday has Joey LaRocque as having also given his oral pledge to the Beavers but the linebacker told Friday afternoon that is not the case. See the article on the junior college college 'backer available our front page for the full story.

**Oregon State also has two soft verbals from RB Clinton Polk and S/WR James Dockery.
