Marcus Thomas is a running back prospect from the state of Arizona. He stars for Tolleson Union High School.
"Marcus is a very elusive back," said the Tolleson Head Coach. "He gets skinny in the holes and explodes. Marcus is not very powerful but he will certainly make you miss."
Thomas, 6-1 and 185 pounds, rushed for 2,089 yards and 28 touchdowns last season as a junior.
"I think I hit the hole hard and I have good vision," said Thomas. "I am an elusive guy with size and speed."
According to Thomas, he has scholarship offers from Vanderbilt, Colorado State and Arizona. Most of the PAC 10 schools are recruiting him hard as well as Nebraska, Michigan and Ohio State.
"Right now, I am pretty open between Vandy, Colorado State, Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, UCLA, Oregon State and Oregon. I am looking at depth charts because I would like to play as quick as I can."
Thomas will likely camp at Nebraska this summer and also go with his team to a camp at New Mexcio.
