Will know by Sunday

Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft receiver Chris Wellington took his second trip this past weekend, to Arizona, and with only Nevada left on the docket, he expects to have his school in mind by Sunday evening.

"I've got one more trip, to Nevada this weekend. I should probably know on my plane trip home where I'm going," said Wellington.

As it stands, Arizona and Oregon State are his leaders, with neither having the advantage on the other.

"I like different things about each school," said Wellington. "With Oregon State, I like the offense better, and with Arizona, I like the city better."

Wellington said he would make his decision prior to Signing Day, and Nevada has the last shot to impress him.

"I've been to Reno before, but I've never been to the school, so that will be a first for me," said Wellington.

Following his trip to Arizona, Wellington said that his visit to Tucson went well.

"It was good. I got to talk with the coaches about some things and see the campus," said Wellington.

While Arizona is also recruiting Wellington's teammate at Taft, Jamere Holland, Wellington doesn't think they're time together would be extended, should he choose the Wildcats.

"We talked about that just today. I don't think that's going to happen, us both going there," Wellington said.

Wellington did express a desire to get the decision made and give himself time to recover from the long process.

"I'm ready to get this over with. I'll know by Sunday, and then I'm done," Wellington said.
