Jordan, 5-11, 180 pound wide receiver was one of the most impressive players we saw at the Nike Camp in Eugene. He clocked a 4.51 in the 40, 4.39 in the shuttle and jumped 32 inches in the vertical. He had no problems getting open all camp long and showed good hands and nice route running.
Jordan played for the Seattle Mariners area code baseball team which was a collection of the top players from the Northwest region. As an outfielder, Jordan is a good looking prospect and said he would like to double sport in college.
"Whatever sport I'm playing at the time is my favorite," Jordan said. "I would love to sign for baseball and play football in the fall. It will all depend on where I go in the draft and you can't really predict that right now."
Jordan received May phone calls from Washington, Oregon and San Diego State and likes those three along with Oregon State and Washington State.
"I would like to stay on the West Coast," Jordan said. "I like all the Northwest schools and with San Diego State, I think it would be great to play baseball for Tony Gwynn (new head coach). He's kind of a legend so that would be cool."
Jordan said he's still waiting on his first scholarship offer but is confident if he puts up the numbers next season, that will take care of itself.
"I have a couple of schools who told me they're looking to offer but they want to see how I do next year," Jordan said. "I'm looking forward to the season and can't wait to get started."
