Riley is content to let the QB battle play it out over the course of the week, wanting to see what happens in Saturday's final scrimmage of fall camp.
Reserve running back Tony Carrasco left the Oregon State football team earlier this week, Riley announced. A walk-on, Carrasco wasn't in line for playing time and decided to head elsewhere. "I opened the door to him, but he has crossed the line now," Riley said. "It was an opportunity for him. He's a great worker. He's a major part of our deal, but he wasn't in the playing part. He's a great scout team player."
The future may be now for three projected starting senior wide receivers with Sammie Stroughter's status still unknown and now having missed eight straight days, as he continues to deal with personal issues.
SportsRadio 1080 The Fan broadcasts live from the Tommy Prothro Football Complex on Thursday. 860 AM KPAM will be on Monday with head coach Mike Riley at 8:08 a.m. PT.

"It's a little ebb and flow – we put some stuff in, we work on it a little bit, it looks a lot better – speaking about the offense. We just need to make it all look good."
